Invest In Her Award Winner

We are thrilled to announce that out of 31 applicants, the InvestHers have chosen Grace Cromer with Grace Upon Grace to be the first winner of the Invest In Her Award and a $10,000 grant.

Cromer shared about her business, “My dream for Grace upon Grace is for it to be a place where special needs children and their families feel loved, safe and welcome. Two years ago our adaptive clothing line for special needs children came to life! I want to be able to reach as many families as possible and help them know they are supported from the moment their child is born. Our adaptive line allows us to accomplish this.” The children’s clothing line launched three years ago and has grown from an e-commerce store to include a brick and mortar location.

“I started Grace upon Grace three years ago out of my college dorm room when I won an entrepreneur competition hosted by my Alma Mater, Wofford College. I was honored to be a Bonner Scholar and attend Wofford College on a full scholarship where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. My inspiration for Grace upon Grace was my personal testimony. I was born three months premature as a triplet and as I grew so did my passion for advocating for children with special needs. While attending events I saw a dire need in the special needs community for adaptive clothing that allowed for medical tubes and monitors to easily access the child,” the founder told Invest In Her.

Cromer plans to use the $10,000 award to expand the adaptive children’s clothing line and supply her onesies to hospitals across the United States.
